OUR VOLUNTEERS
Please consider joining us. Each member must serve 50 hours as a Provisional volunteer. These 50 hours include: orientation; working in the marking room; and working at the Shop register. After completing all orientation activities, Provisional members transition to Active status. Active members are required to work one 3-hour shift each month at the cash register and regularly volunteer in their department of interest. Please note: There is a $20.00 one-time fee to join the organization.
Activities include:
- Receiving, sorting, inspecting, and pricing donations for sale in our retail thrift shop
- Greeting customers and cashier duties
- Creating beautiful window displays
- Shopping for children’s clothing, toys, and books for Christmas Unlimited distribution
- Serving on various committees that organize and plan our work
